Please join us for the 5th Annual CCASA Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament! October 3 & 4, 2015 — Buchanan Softball Complex • Clovis, CA The full flyer with more information will be posted here soon. Congratulations to our 2015 CCASA Scholarship Recipients! Click HERE to view current and past recipients. You can always find our Scholarship Application under the Junior Olympics tab, in Downloads. It will be updated for 2016 after our Annual Meeting in October. The CCASA All Association Team is selected from the top placing teams at our Association Championship tournaments. Click HERE to view the list of these very talented players! The annual JO Workshop & Adult Tournament Directors Meetings are coming this January! As always, there will be one meeting on the Coast and one meeting in the Valley so that all leagues can attend! At each meeting we cover the same information so if you cannot make it to the one in your area, feel free to come to the other meeting. We hope to see a few representatives from each league attending the JO Workshop. We will go over important information including registrations, insurance and any changes that were made at our Annual Meeting in October (and there were changes!) The Adult Tournament Directors meetings will be held during the JO Workshop also. Click HERE for the agenda, dates, times and locations! (PLEASE NOTE: Leagues do not need to attend the CCASA Staff Meeting at 10:00 am. That is for our Association Staff only. Please make sure you submit your 2015 Tournament Requests as soon as possible. Deadlines have changed. For the JO Program, May thru July requests should be made by December 31, all other requests should be received at least 14 days prior to the requested date. For the Adult Program, All requests should be made by December 31, requests after that date will fill weekends not previously occupied. Please visit the following links to submit your requests. Come out and help us help one of our own. I would like to thank the ad hoc committee for the time spent revising the 8U tournament rules. They were able to come to agreement and reduce two sets of rules (pink and purple) down to one set. It is important that our youngest players have consistency in their their development and playing by the same rules at every tournament makes teaching much easier and learning less confusing. These are the rules we WILL be using for all 8U tournament, there can be no changes or modifications. We will be opening these up for discussion and possible tweaking at our October meeting.
