I would like to thank the ad hoc committee for the time spent revising the 8U tournament rules. Β They were able to come to agreement and reduce two sets of rules (pink and purple) down to one set. Β It is important that our youngest players have consistencyΒ in their their development and playing by the same rules at every tournament makes teaching much easier and learning less confusing.
These are the rules we WILL be using for all 8U tournament, there can be no changes or modifications. Β We will be opening these up for discussion and possible tweaking at our October meeting.
