We encourage all of our membership to attend and give us your thoughts and ideas before we put new rules/guidelines/etc into place.
We also hand out the years membership awards at a luncheon during this meeting. Lunch is included for all attendees! If you plan to attend, please email jesse@usasoftballcentralcal.com so she can add you to the headcount for the Luncheon. (Please mention what league/organization/etc you are from).

The 2019 Special Olympics National Invitational Tournament is being held August 15-18, this year in Nashville, TN. Please note the April 30 response date if you would like to apply.
As in the past, the umpire is responsible for their own travel and no game fees are paid. The umpire will be housed by the Special Olympics and some meals are provided. The rewards come from working with these special athletes and the attitude they bring to the game. Umpires who have worked this tournament in the past are always interested in returning, but new umpires are welcome, particularly with local or state Special Olympic experience.
Applications will be reviewed for selection before the names of those umpires selected will go before the Special Olympics management for final review. Umpires will be notified directly if they are selected. All umpires must be USA Softball registered and cleared the background check. Completion of Safesport training is encouraged.

The All American tryout that was rained out has been rescheduled for:
March 10, 2019 from 10am to 2pm.
It will be held at:
Lakeview Junior High, 3700 Orcutt Road, Santa Maria, CA 93455
The All American Tryouts this weekend in Santa Maria have been cancelled due to rain and will be rescheduled.
When another date is selected we will let everyone know.
Otherwise, if you would like, you may attend the Bakersfield tryout on Feb 23rd.

The annual JO Workshop is coming up soon! 
As always, there will be one meeting on the Coast and one meeting in the Valley so that all leagues can attend! At each meeting we cover the same information so if you cannot make it to the one in your area, feel free to come to the other meeting.
We hope to see a few representatives from each league attending the JO Workshop. We will review important information including registrations, insurance, Fees, Safe Sports & ACE, and any changes that were made at our Annual Meeting in October.
**NEW THIS YEAR** We will have some breakout sessions for various information, so please review the Agenda when it is posted and decide which board members will attend which meetings.
The Adult Tournament Directors meetings will be held during the JO Workshop also.
